Acts as the technical leader for the Product Line, being responsible for all technological decisions for the products under the portfolio of the Product Line. Analyses the Product needs/requirements prepared by the PLM, to define the Product technical solution and roadmap. Defines & manages all product variability, commonality & re-use across the Product Line & throughout the Product lifecycle. Prepares the technical part of the Product Plan: Product technical definition & functionalities, architecture & building blocks, innovation insertion plan, technical roadmap, RDC Budget requirements, Competition products technical analysis, Core/Non-Core analysis and related Strategic Make-Team-Buy… Prepare and conduct the Engineering reviews, technical meetings or peer reviews during the bid or project and in Product Decision Reviews. Regarding bids & projects using Product Line products: close coordination with the project/bid team to detect and mitigate risks of divergence with Product Line technical roadmap. For a Product development: verifies the implementation of the Product Policy during the Product Development Phase, working with the project/bid team to detect and mitigate risks of divergence with Product Line technical roadmap.
