Enrolment in a Bachelor (advanced) or Master program with a focus on political science, African studies, economics, or a related discipline Excellent knowledge of the English language (the working language of the research department is English) Excellent knowledge of German, and some experience with East or Southern African languages would be a plus Training in and experience with statistical methods, advanced regression models, and strong R and/or Stata skills Strong analytical skills Competent handling of MS Office applications Optional: Interest and experience in formal modelling (game theory, agent-based modelling)
