Anforderungen:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business field.
4+ years of experience in technical procurement roles.
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Microsoft Excel, and interested in Power BI.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Fluent in English.
Aufgaben:
This position combines strategic sourcing with hands-on procurement responsibilities. As the U.S.-based Purchaser, you’ll work closely with global suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality procurement for our rail projects. In this role, you will:
Select and evaluate global suppliers for assigned product categories. Lead strategic contract negotiations to secure optimal terms for cost, quality, and delivery.
Maintain supplier data in our ERP system (e.g., SAP), including lead times and confirmations.
Collaborate with logistics, engineering, planning, and quality teams to resolve issues. Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements with global teams.
Support new product introductions and cost optimization in coordination with R&D and project management. Manage operational procurement tasks, including converting requisitions into purchase orders and resolving invoicing discrepancies.
Stay current with best practices in procurement and introduce new tools and methodologies.
Collaborate with experienced professionals in a high-tech, innovative environment. Work on meaningful projects with real-world application.
