GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform minor surface preparation, sanding, masking, and touch up painting on rolling stock units. • Mix and prepare paints and related materials according to established specifications. • Conduct small corrections, repairs, and finish improvements as directed by the supervisor. • Take basic measurements such as film thickness, gloss, or adhesion when required. • Maintain proper use and care of painting tools, compressors, and equipment. • Complete assigned control sheets or records as required by the company. • Keep the work area clean, orderly, and compliant with safety and environmental procedures. • Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately and follow all safety protocols. • Support mechanical fitting activities during Train Completion Works, assisting technicians with basic assembly, re fit, or minor mechanical tasks when required to ensure unit readiness.
