Anforderungen:
Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting firm (audit, accounting, or advisory), with strong foundations in accounting and financial statements according to the local GAAP
Exposure to multinational environments and/or IFRS is a strong advantage
Comfortable working with complex business and financial flows, balancing group standards with local requirements
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
Knowledge of Portuguese accounting and tax regulations is a strong plus
Proficiency in Excel
Clear, professional communication skills and fluency in English (working language)
Aufgaben:
As an Accounting & Tax Specialist Europe (West Region) (m/f/d), you will be responsible for group-level finance operations with local statutory and tax requirements in close collaboration with shared service centers and local advisors. This role sits within the Finance Operations & Tax Europe pillar and covers Western Europe (France, Benelux, Iberia).
About the Role
Oversee accounting and financial operations for Western Europe (France, Benelux, Iberia) in close collaboration with the Sofia-based accounting hub
Ensure timely and accurate month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closings, including balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
Prepare and review financial statements under local GAAP and IFRS, including IFRS mappings and adjustments
Act as key contact for auditors and respond to HQ requests on reporting, accounting, and tax matters
Coordinate local tax compliance (corporate tax, VAT, other local taxes) with external advisors, ensuring adherence to group guidelines and local requirements
Contribute to the harmonization, improvement, and automation of finance and tax processes across Europe
Partner closely with FP&A, Billing, operational teams, shared services, and local stakeholders to ensure accurate financial treatment and effective collaboration
