Improve and maintain our scalable data platform infrastructure on AWS, K8s, Confluent Cloud and Snowflake, ensuring high availability and reliability for all data consumers across the organization Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to understand their needs and continuously improve the platform''s usability and self-service capabilities Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, ensuring our cloud environments are reproducible, auditable, and well-documented Operate and improve our data platform by optimizing workloads for performance, cost-efficiency, and resilience Build and refine CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) to enable fast, safe, and automated deployments across the data platform Evaluate and introduce new technologies and best practices to keep our data platform modern, secure, and future-proof Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation, sharing knowledge within the team and across the organization Implement and maintain comprehensive observability and monitoring (Datadog), creating actionable alerts and dashboards to proactively detect and resolve issues Participate in the team’s on-call duty schedule
